Everything I Do . . .

Oh, the memories this song evokes! The main one (which should be my wedding, since we liked it so much that we walked out to this song, or did I walk in to this one? I forget. I digress.) is one night, it must have been a Thursday at 7:45 pm, we are all crammed into Karleen's car, and by we I mean me, Sherry, Karleen, and my boyfriend Stuart - all in the front seat! - and we were on our way to DQ. And this song comes on the radio, and we're singing it at the top of our lungs, and we put in "Stu" instead of "you" - "everything I do, I do it for STU!" Oh, we had a ball. I still don't know how we all fit in the front seat, but I will say that was one big car. Karleen's car - that's a whole 'nother post!

Look into my eyes - you will see
What you mean to me
Search your heart - search your soul
And when you find me there you'll search no more
Don't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
You can't tell me it's not worth dyin' for
You know it's true
Everything I do - I do it for you

Look into my heart - you will find
There's nothin' there to hide
Take me as I am - take my life
I would give it all I would sacrifice
Don't tell me it's not worth fightin' for
I can't help it there's nothin' I want more
Ya know it's true
Everything I do - I do it for you

There's no love - like your love
And no other - could give more love
There's nowhere - unless you're there
All the time - all the way

Don't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
I can't help it there's nothin' I want more
I would fight for you - I'd lie for you
Walk the wire for you - Ya I'd die for you
Ya know it's true
Everything I do - I do it for you

Sheila and Sherry,

Ladies, you need to get back on this blog. PRONTO. Got it? Give your kids some popsicles, pop in a video and start writing. A little food and mindless entertainment in place of the nurturing presence of a mother will give your kids something to blog about someday. Come on! Or if you insist on being loving moms, neglect your husbands. This is important!

Just kidding. All that to say you made me giggle.
